The Committee was pleased to confirm Gareth as Captain. Gareth has held a number of roles within the MGS Committee and is a long serving member, holding the record appearances

2016 saw us host an Anniversary weekend, being the 15th year since we were formed, so 10 games were played, with 7 different winners this year, but also a lot of low scores that saw us revamp the handicap system. The season started at Upton-by-Chester, our birth place, and included 2 new courses in Wigan and Leigh.
