2022

In our 20, 21st and 22nd year, the Committee was please to confirm Adam as Captain over a period that took in the Covid-19 pandemic and the associated lockdown. Not much golf played in the first two of those years alas.

Courses

2022 saw us travel to several new courses, including a two day excursion to Abersoch and Porthmadog to belatedly celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Society. This year saw 6 different individual winners across the 10 games, and although we had no new members or guests, it was very much a year of consolidation after the pandemic, a period which saw us lose several members through ill health. This year also saw the introduction of the Captain's 'Red Balls' which is hopefully a one off, as no one wants to see that sort of thing, especially the colour blind. 10 events were played in total with Hollywell and Runcorn joining Abersoch and Porthmadog as new venues to the MGS.
